What is the most effective way to direct market?
I am selling waiting room entertainment systems, and want to market to health facilities. What is the most cost-effective way of reaching this demographic?
I sell to a somewhat similar demographic and I have done allot of different types of marketing. What I have found is the walk in cold call approach works better for me than marketing letters, phone calls. If you do not feel comfortable walking into a health care office cold then call in advance and get the name of the administrator, let the receptionist know you will be stopping by with some information for that person. Include with your drop off marketing packet a fax back form for more information and you will see your leads come right to your fax. It helps them look over the information at their leisure, gives them an avenue to reach you back conveniently and since you walked into give them the information they have a face to put with the marketing materials. They like that. Good luck to you sounds like an interesting product you sell. I would think it would go over well.
